Job summary

InvokaPAY B.V. in Amsterdam seeks an experienced Interim Chief Risk & Compliance Officer to lead risk and regulatory activities on a fractional basis.

The role requires immediate start, management board alignment, and close collaboration through the DNB licence application and post-licensing set-up. The candidate will oversee risk, AML/CFT and financial crime functions, ensure ICT/DORA readiness, and bring deep crypto-asset and MiCAR knowledge within a payments/EMI context.

Qualifications

• DNB fit & proper approval (policymaker) required, on more than one occasion.
• Senior hands-on risk management experience, especially in payments EMI or bank.
• Working knowledge of crypto-assets and MiCAR.
• Available for immediate start.
• Based in Amsterdam.

Responsibilities

• Take Management Board accountability for risk management and compliance as second line of defence.
• Lead engagement with DNB through licence application and post-licensing setup.
• Embed risk framework including risk appetite, SIRA, operational and ICT/DORA risk, outsourcing oversight.
• Oversee financial and prudential risk including own funds, capital adequacy, counterparty exposure, stress testing, and Recovery & Exit Plan.
• Provide oversight of MLRO and financial crime function, reporting to Supervisory Board.
• Bring crypto-asset and MiCAR expertise given CASP partner base.
