Position Description

Job Title: Talend Integration Developer (Supply Chain)- IT
Summary:
X provides supply chain management services to customers in the retail, hospitality, cosmetic andtelecommunication industry amongst others. Working with project management teams called “ControlTowers”, X has offices in America, Canada, Hong Kong, Shanghai, India and The Netherlands.

Through a proprietary state of the art system, Control Towers connect project managers and suppliers toan agile network of warehouses around the globe. X coordinates project logistic activities on behalf ofthese customers to increase speed to market, lower overall non-merchandise supply chain costs andprovide end-to-end visibility over project activity.

We are the only global project logistics supply-chain partner for International brands, and we have strongexperience in managing the complexity of non-merchandise logistics e.g. furniture, fixture and equipment(FF&E). Additionally, we are experienced in managing supplier capabilities and opening large volumes ofmultiple projects simultaneously, domestically and internationally.

All our team members have or will develop extensive knowledge in forecasting, managing Furniture,Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E) orders, product movement, and delivery of FF&E materials to Internationalmarkets. We have a strong system and well-defined processes that serve as the basis for our extensivetraining, especially for entry-level team members.

The Software Developer is responsible for the technical aspects of X platform. He/she is responsiblefor developing and implementing interfaces and other components of X platform.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Experience in Json, FTP, HTTP, AS2 data exchange
  • Experience with EDIFACT and X12 supply chain messages
  • Create processes workflow in Talend to load data from external file sources into databases and vice versa
  • Constraints, Job Scheduling, Materialized Views
  • Write SQL queries and create PL/SQL functions next to Json messages
  • Provisioned in SQL, PL/SQL, Performance Views, Data Dictionary, inserts / updates / delete actions to external databases (example: MySQL / Oracle)
  • Used PL/SQL Tables, Cursors to process vast volumes of data, and used bulk collect for a mass update as a performance improvement process
  • Provide production support for Talend Application and connected landscape
  • Follow best practices to document and track changes, synchronize development-UAT-
  • Troubleshoot operational issue - Trace Data, logic, and report back on root cause
  • Develop and provide support to system interfaces and coordinate with stakeholders to provide specifications for all core transactions and customer request
  • Analyze and ensure an efficient transition of all technical design documents to provide support to the application landscape
  • Monitor and recommend changes if required to provide stored procedures and design and develop various solutions for CICD
  • Creates and maintains a perfect relationship with the customer
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Self-motivated, fast learner (Agile mindset)
Qualifications

Education and/or experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or equivalent education in IT field
  • 3-5 years direct work experience of Integration activities in Talend and Pl/SQL
  • Knowledge of SQL Developer/ Toad
Language Skills

Ability to document procedure manuals. Ability to document functional and technical aspects of software projectClear & consistent communications (both writing & speaking) in English.

Organizational Skills and Focus

Must be well organized, efficient, focused, and able to multi-task effectively.Has a strong affinity with Supply Chain and construction projects.

Reasoning Ability

Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. This position requires strong analytical/logic, communication and coding skills. Must have the ability to develop and understand processes, flowcharts, and IT structures and systems.
