Job summary

Summa is seeking an Integration Developer to bridge the gap to the future of software development. You will join a C#/.NET team and work on integration solutions that enable applications to work together reliably. You will containerize apps with Docker and drive automation through CI/CD and DevOps practices.

You will contribute to the modernization of the IT landscape, enabling scalable delivery for thousands of students and staff in a hybrid environment in the Brainport region.

Qualifications

• Solid C#/.NET development background with Docker experience.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and automation; comfortable with the command line.
• Curious and driven to grow in Kubernetes, cloud-native, and DevOps.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, API Gateways or OpenTelemetry/SigNoz is an advantage.
• Communicative team player who shares knowledge and collaborates.

Responsibilities

• Develop and containerize applications with C#/.NET and Docker.
• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps or similar.
• Configure and deploy applications on Kubernetes using YAML/Helm.
• Automate processes to improve user and developer experiences.

This is what you will do as an Integration Developer

At our organization, the power of education is central. To offer thousands of students and teachers the best digital experience, we are continuously modernizing our IT landscape. As an Integration Developer, you play a key role in this transformation. You are part of our C#/.NET development team and work on developing integration solutions that enable applications and systems to work together optimally.

As an Integration Developer, you are primarily a developer with a strong DevOps mindset. You develop and build solutions while overseeing the interplay between development and operations. Using modern techniques such as Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD, you ensure that integration solutions are developed and deployed reliably, automatically, and efficiently.

What are your other duties;

• Developing and containerizing applications with C#/.NET and Docker.
• Develop integration solutions and ensure good collaboration between different systems.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps or a suitable alternative solution.
• Configuring and deploying applications on Kubernetes using YAML and Helm, among others.
• Automating processes to improve both the user experience and the developer experience.
• Support colleagues with questions regarding applications, deployments, containers, and the integration platform.
• Experimenting with new tools and techniques to continuously improve our development processes.

This is what we offer you

• A salary in accordance with the MBO collective labor agreement, scale 9 (between) €3.344 and €4.948 gross per month based on full-time employment.
• Travel allowance, home working allowance and hybrid working.
• A one-year contract, with the prospect of a permanent contract.
• Year-end bonus of 8,33%, 30 vacation days per calendar year based on full-time employment (to accrue to 50 vacation days through a 40-hour work week), ABP pension fund, a laptop and phone on loan.
• Develop yourself through training, a course or the annual development festival.
