As part of a major international hydrogen project involving a 200 MW electrolyzer in the Netherlands, MOBEN&ROOSTER is looking for an Instrumentation & Commissioning Specialist to lead site instrumentation activities throughout the pre-commissioning and commissioning phases.
You will be involved in key activities including DCS reception, initial loop checks and equipment preparation for start-up.
Occasional business trips to engineering offices in France, Germany and Poland are expected.
Your responsibilities will include:
Performing calibration of pressure, temperature and other instrumentation devices;
Initializing and calibrating actuators;
Leading and performing loop checks;
Checking installations against E&I documentation, including logic diagrams, wiring diagrams, loop diagrams and instrumentation hook-ups;
Reviewing and using P&IDs and other piping documentation required for field activities;
Working with DCS systems during commissioning activities;
Working with Yokogawa systems.
You will also be responsible for:
Leading instrumentation-related pre-commissioning and commissioning activities;
Performing pre-commissioning checks based on P&IDs;
Participating in blowing, flushing and inerting operations;
Performing pre-commissioning activities on rotating equipment;
Supporting and performing E&I commissioning activities;
Participating in the commissioning of electrical equipment and electrical shelters.
As part of your responsibilities, you will:
Complete all quality documentation related to on-site inspections and checks;
Provide regular reporting on activity progress;
Coordinate field operations within your scope of responsibility;
Identify and report potential issues and blockers during pre-commissioning and commissioning activities;
Collaborate with the various disciplines involved in commissioning and start-up activities.
Strong expertise in instrumentation and E&I commissioning;
Proven experience in pressure, temperature and other instrumentation calibration;
Strong knowledge of actuator initialization and calibration;
Extensive experience performing and leading loop checks;
Experience in rotating equipment pre-commissioning;
Experience in electrical equipment and electrical shelter commissioning;
Good knowledge of DCS systems;
Knowledge of Yokogawa systems;
Advanced ability to read E&I documentation, including logic diagrams, wiring diagrams, loop diagrams and instrumentation hook-ups;
Advanced ability to read P&IDs and piping documentation;
Experience with pre-commissioning activities including P&ID checks, blowing, flushing and inerting;
Ability to complete and manage quality documentation related to field inspections and checks.
Engineer Diplom or an equivalent Master Degree
Minimum 10 years of on-site instrumentation experience;
Significant experience in pre-commissioning and commissioning phases;
Proven experience leading technical field activities.
Fluent English is mandatory, both written and spoken;
