Job summary

Triple Audio in Bilthoven is seeking an installation engineer to install and maintain broadcast audio/video systems on client sites. You’ll handle cabling, interfaces, wiring and final connections, both on-site and in our workshop.

You will work with a compact team, contribute ideas, and help keep systems running reliably. Dutch language skills, a driving licence, and hands-on attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics or computer science is an advantage but not required.
• Proficiency in Dutch is essential.
• Valid category B driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure hardware and software for broadcast projects on-site and in workshop.
• Carry out maintenance at customers' premises and in the workshop to ensure long-term operation.
• Connect interfaces, cables and control systems and troubleshoot as needed.

The moment a presenter goes on air, everything simply has to work: microphones, cameras, interfaces, routing. That reliability starts with the installation.

We have a great range of audio and video projects to install for our clients in the broadcast industry in the coming period, and we are looking for an additional installation technician to help with this.

As an installation engineer, you’ll be working on site to install and maintain the technical solutions we build for our clients. You’ll have no trouble setting up cabling, circuits and interfaces, and you’ll be just as at home in our workshop as you are at a client’s premises.

Triple Audio has been a specialist in professional broadcast and audio solutions for over 30 years. From our office in Bilthoven, we design, build, and install complete radio and TV studios.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be out and about installing audio and video projects: from the initial cabling to the final connection. Every project is different, and there’s always scope for you to contribute your own ideas.

Maintenance

You’ll carry out maintenance work at customers’ premises and in our own workshop, ensuring that the systems we build continue to operate effectively in the long term.

Technology

Connecting interfaces, wiring circuits, troubleshooting: the technical side of an installation is in safe hands with you, whether you’re already familiar with it or are still learning.

What you'll be working with

You will install and configure hardware and software from leading manufacturers, such as Telos Alliance, Cisco, Dell and Synology, supplemented by our own software. This includes technology such as:

• Networks Switches and routing for broadcast networks
• Audio AoIP-standardslikeDante.AES67 andMADI
• Video SDI andIP-video (including SMPTE ST 2110)
• Control GPIO, RS-422/RS-232 andbroadcast control systems
