Zusammenfassung

Fluor Corporation in Gorinchem, the Netherlands, seeks a Head of Work Preparation Infra – DVM to lead the work preparation team and ensure seamless alignment between design, work preparation and execution on our DVM projects, including dynamic systems such as traffic signals and information systems for highway users.

You will manage subcontractors, uphold Rijkswaterstaat standards and SE processes, and push for continuous improvement while preventing risk through proactive planning.

Qualifikationen

• Extensive experience in work preparation or project supervision in infrastructure, preferably DVM.
• Familiarity with Rijkswaterstaat standards and applying Systems Engineering.
• Ability to lead teams and steer both design and execution.
• Pragmatic, results-driven, no-nonsense work style.
• Strong communication and leadership; capable of motivating teams.
• Commercial acumen with contract management and subcontractors.
• Proactive, able to anticipate bottlenecks and steer to mitigate risks.
• Knowledge of W&V processes; UAV-GC contracts experience; project control.
• 5–10+ years of experience in work preparation/execution on RWS projects.

• Bridge between design and execution, connecting both worlds effectively.
• Review DVM designs.
• Collaborate with foremen, engineers and planners at an operational level.
• Ensure compliance with Rijkswaterstaat standards, SE processes and contract requirements.
• Oversee contract management with subcontractors, including commercial negotiations and direction.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, quality, and collaboration.
• Anticipate bottlenecks and proactively steer to avoid risks.
