• ISMS & security controls - supporting, maintaining and improving the organisation's ISMS and control environment.
• Security awareness - coordinating phishing campaigns and wider initiatives to improve employee security awareness.
• Project security - ensuring current and upcoming business projects meet the required Information Security standards and requirements.
• Vulnerability management - supporting vulnerability identification, remediation tracking and working with relevant technical teams.
• Cyber Security Operations - providing support to the wider security operations function when required, including assisting with security incidents and operational security activities.
• Stakeholder engagement - acting as the bridge between the Business and Security teams, translating security requirements into practical solutions.

I'm currently working with a global technology company that is looking to appoint an Information Security Officer (ISO) for their Dutch operations.

The role will sit at the intersection of Business and Security, acting as the key point of contact for Information Security, Cyber Security and related security queries across the organisation.

Day-to-day activities will include:

• ISMS & security controls- supporting, maintaining and improving the organisation's ISMS and control environment.
• Security awareness- coordinating phishing campaigns and wider initiatives to improve employee security awareness.
• Project security- ensuring current and upcoming business projects meet the required Information Security standards and requirements.
• Vulnerability management- supporting vulnerability identification, remediation tracking and working with relevant technical teams.
• Cyber Security Operations- providing support to the wider security operations function when required, including assisting with security incidents and operational security activities.
• Stakeholder engagement- acting as the bridge between the Business and Security teams, translating security requirements into practical solutions.

They're looking for someone who can combine strong Information Security knowledge with a business-focused mindset, communicate confidently with stakeholders and support across both governance and operational security when needed.

The position requires 4 day onsite and there is no VISA sponsorship available at this time.
