Job summary
Selo is looking for a PLC Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain control software for process plants in the food industry. You’ll work with colleagues to translate customer requirements into automation solutions and support commissioning engineers remotely.
The role offers growth and learning opportunities within a dynamic international team. The ideal candidate has 0–4 years of relevant experience, an HBO technical background, and proficiency in Dutch and English.
Qualifications
- HBO level or higher in a technical field.
- Experience or affinity with PLC/automation (Siemens/Allen-Bradley is a plus).
- Interest in standards like ANSI/ISA-88, ISO 27001 and Machinery Regulation.
- 0–4 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong analytical skills and problem solving.
- Eager to learn and proactive mindset.
- Proficient in Dutch and English.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test PLC software (Siemens TIA Portal or Allen-Bradley Studio 5000).
- Collaborate with colleagues and assist in project realization.
- Translate customer requirements into technical automation solutions.
- Test, debug, and optimize software in the workshop and on site as needed.
- Provide remote support to Commissioning Engineers.
- Continuously learn and grow within industrial automation.
