Job summary

ISS Facility Services Nederland is seeking an Industrial Cleaning Employee II for Kite Pharma in Hoofddorp. You will help maintain a clean, safe, compliant workplace and carry out tasks independently while following hygiene and quality procedures.

You will clean production and office areas, prepare materials, check hygiene standards, and report safety concerns. The role involves standing, lifting and regular shift work, including evenings or weekends as needed.

What will you do?

As an Industrial Cleaning Employee II at ISS, you help maintain a clean, safe and compliant workplace. You carry out cleaning tasks independently, follow strict hygiene and quality procedures, check the results of your work and report any safety or quality concerns to your supervisor.

Working with your colleagues, you will clean and prepare production and office areas in accordance with site procedures. Your daily responsibilities include:

• Clean designated production, office and shared areas according to work instructions and schedules.


• Prepare, use and store cleaning equipment and materials correctly.


• Inspect cleaned areas and confirm that the required hygiene and quality standards have been met.


• Complete supporting tasks, such as replenishing supplies and moving cleaning materials and equipment.


• Follow all safety, hygiene and quality procedures and use the required protective clothing and equipment.


• Record completed work when required and promptly report deviations, damage or unsafe situations.


• Coordinate with colleagues and support the team in completing the daily cleaning plan.

Physical requirements
This is an active role. You will spend most of the working day standing and moving around, and you will regularly lift, carry and move cleaning materials and equipment. You should therefore be comfortable performing physical tasks safely throughout your shift.

Your attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are important to us. You do not need extensive industrial-cleaning experience, because ISS will provide the training and instructions required for the role.

An advantage

Previous experience in cleaning, logistics or production is welcome, but it is not required.

What we will teach you

You will receive site-specific training on cleaning methods, equipment, hygiene standards, safety procedures and quality requirements.

Where you will work

You will work at Kite Pharma in Hoofddorp, part of Gilead Sciences, where innovative cell therapies are manufactured. By maintaining a clean and safe workplace, you help employees perform their work in accordance with strict production, hygiene and safety standards.

You will join the on-site ISS team and work closely with colleagues to complete the daily cleaning plan and maintain consistent quality across the location.

The team operates 365 days a year. Depending on the work schedule, you may be required to work evening shifts, weekends and public holidays.

The location is about a 10-minute walk from a bus stop. Shared bicycles are also available from Hoofddorp train station and the nearby bus stop.
