Job summary

Belastingdienst in Apeldoorn seeks a medior Java developer to design, implement and maintain applications with broad societal impact. You will work in a Scrum team, turning complex processes into modular components and writing unit tests.

You’ll share knowledge, participate in national events, and contribute to a culture of code quality with peer reviews and testing. A strong Java EE background is essential.

Qualifications

• HBO level work and thinking required.
• At least three years of Java Enterprise Edition development experience.
• Experience with Java EE frameworks and tools such as Java EE, Angular, Maven, OpenShift, Jenkins, SonarQube, Git and Jira.
• SCJP and/or OCPJP certifications preferred or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex applications and components within a Scrum team.
• Collaborate with developers, designers and testers and review peers’ work to ensure quality.
• Share knowledge and participate in Java community events and internal meetings.
