Job summary

Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam is recruiting a Project Leader for the Center for Neurogenomics and Cognitive Research (CNCR) to strengthen neuroscience valorisation. You will map expertise, engage researchers and develop opportunities for external collaboration, contract research and follow-on funding.

The role is part of a 1-year IBVU project. The salary follows UFO Project Leader 3 scales, with a starting range and annual adjustments.

Qualifications

• Collaborative and results-oriented project leader.
• Strong organisational and project-management skills.
• Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• Knowledge of intellectual property, valorisation, business development, market exploration or public-private collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Translate objectives into a concrete plan and monitor progress.
• Map expertise and valorisation opportunities across the CNCR.
• Engage with researchers to translate science into external propositions.
• Coordinate development of a valorisation portfolio and online CNCR profile.
• Organise workshops on IP, entrepreneurship, market needs and collaboration models.
• Maintain relationships and document methods in a practical toolkit.
• Prepare progress reports and contribute to transfer and embedding.
