NextLink Group is seeking a detail-oriented IFS Functional Consultant to support IFS Cloud ERP implementations, configurations, and optimizations. You will translate business needs into functional specs and act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.

The role requires deep knowledge of IFS Aurena and Cloud capabilities, with a track record of full-cycle IFS Cloud deployments. Strong English and Dutch language skills are essential, with a focus on utility industry processes.

Job Description

Nextlink is seeking an experienced and dynamic IFSFunctional Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will analyzebusiness requirements and translate them into robust functional specificationswithin the IFS ecosystem. You will serve as the critical bridge between ourbusiness stakeholders and the technical team, ensuring seamless systemconfiguration, implementation, and post-go-live support.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with IFSCloud, a strong background in full-cycle implementations, and a deepunderstanding of core business processes.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Configuration

• Analyzecomplex business requirements and translate them into clear functionalspecifications within the IFS system.
• Configureand customize core IFS modules (including Enterprise Asset Management,Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Projects, HR, and CRM)based on industry best practices.
• Utilizestrong business process knowledge to optimize field service managementconfigurations.

Project Lifecycle & Delivery

• Participateactively in all phases of the project lifecycle: requirements gathering,gap analysis, system configuration, testing, training, and deployment.
• Leadcollaborative workshops and conduct engaging functional demonstrations forstakeholders.
• Collaborateclosely with technical consultants to support data migration, third-partyintegrations, and reporting requirements.
• Providehigh-quality end-user support, issue resolution, and proactiverecommendations for continuous process improvement.
• Createand maintain comprehensive system documentation, user manuals, processflows, and training materials.
• Stayupdated with the latest IFS Cloud features, functionality, and productroadmaps to advise the business on future enhancements.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience & Technical Skills

• 5+years of total experience in ERP consulting, with at least 3 years dedicated to IFS Applications or IFS Cloud.
• Proventrack record of participating in at least 2 full-cycle IFS Cloudimplementations or major upgrade projects.
• Deepfamiliarity with the IFS Aurena interface, IFS Cloud capabilities,and the IFS Mobile Application Suite.
• Strongunderstanding of core business processes in one or more domains: Finance,HCM, Manufacturing, Logistics, Service, or Project Management.

Language & Industry Preferences

• Language: Must be fully proficient in both Dutch and English (writtenand spoken).
• Industry: Prior experience in the Utilities industry is highly preferred.

Education & Certifications (Preferred)

• IFSCertified Functional Consultant designation is highly desirable.
• Knowledgeof Project Management frameworks or Agile methodologies is a strong plus.
• AnalyticalThinking: Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability totranslate complex business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with both highlytechnical teams and business stakeholders.
• Adaptability: Proven ability to manage multiple shifting priorities and deliverhigh-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
