Vonk zoekt een ervaren ICT-docent voor Schagen (0,8–1,0 fte). Je begeleidt leerlingen in ICT-programma's, werkt samen met collega's aan projectmatig onderwijs en fungeert als coach en mentor.

Je hebt affiniteit met ICT en bij voorkeur een onderwijsbevoegdheid of PDG. De functie biedt ruimte voor professionele ontwikkeling binnen mbo-onderwijs en een betrokken team.

Qualifications

• Ervaren ICT-docent, bij voorkeur mbo/vo.
• Affiniteit met ICT en actuele ICT-kennis.
• Goed kunnen coachen en verbinden met studenten.
• Bij voorkeur een onderwijsbevoegdheid of PDG.

Responsibilities

• Begeleiden van ICT-leerprogramma's voor niveau 3 en 4.
• Samenwerken met collega's aan praktijkgericht onderwijs.
• Leren stimuleren, zelfstandigheid en samenwerking ontwikkelen.
• Functie als coach en mentor vervullen waar nodig.

Within the ICT team (location Schagen, Hofstraat) we are looking for a Experienced ICT Teacher
0.8 – 1.0 FTE

What will you do? For our ICT training programs, we are looking for an experienced teacher who knows how to guide students at levels 3 and 4 and who is eager to work together with colleagues to build good teaching. We work project-based. Students learn by working on realistic assignments and projects. As a teacher, you provide direction and instruction when necessary, but you are primarily a coach and mentor. You help students think independently, work together, and find solutions. We are not specifically looking for a specialist who is proficient in all aspects of ICT. Within our team, we complement each other. We believe it is more important to be a good teacher, keep an overview, and bring sufficient ICT knowledge and curiosity to help students further.

Job requirements

Who are you?

• You are an experienced teacher and preferably have experience within the VET sector;
• You have affinity with and knowledge of ICT;
• You can coach well and connect with various vocational school students;
• You like working together and contributing to the development of education;
• You preferably have a teaching qualification or PDG.

Thanks to our strong collaboration with various community centres in North Holland, our NT1 and NT2 teachers also give lessons in the Dutch language at external locations, ensuring everyone has access to good education.

As well as modern theory classrooms, the Hofstraat has numerous practical rooms that are equipped with the latest tools and technologies. For example, in four spacious practical rooms, ICT students can test various technologies and carry out realistic simulations. We also have our own restaurant where hospitality students hone their culinary skills and welcome guests.
