Job summary

Finext is seeking an Industry Expert in Construction and Engineering to strengthen the Office of the CFO and elevate financial processes. You will leverage pragmatic consultancy experience and an entrepreneurial approach to attract opportunities, collaborate with clients, and shape strategic outcomes across multiple engagements.

You will serve as the substantive contact for CFOs, lead plans with relationship managers, and drive the architecture, process design, and value propositions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10-15 years of experience in business consulting with a focus on finance and transformation.
• A strong network and the commercial drive to create new opportunities.
• Extensive experience within the Construction & Engineering sector.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and drive to grow an organization.
• Experience with roadmap development and implementation of improvement projects.
• Consulting skills with a pragmatic approach.
• Performance-oriented and analytical mindset with opportunity spotting.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• You are the substantive point of contact for CFOs and finance teams.
• Together with relationship managers, develop and present plans and propositions.
• Proactively schedule appointments within your network, identify and seize opportunities.
• Take ultimate responsibility for vision, architecture and process design.
• Provide input for project proposals and quotations.
• Share industry knowledge as a sparring partner at a strategic level.
• Develop new business cases and convince customers.
• Encourage knowledge sharing within the team.
• Monitor quality through business consultancy and quality assurance.
