Job summary

COUNT Group is seeking a skilled software/data engineer for a hybrid role in Rotterdam. The candidate should have 3-5 years of relevant professional experience and a degree in a related technical field.

You will develop and maintain internal business applications, build reporting tools, and work with databases, APIs, and cloud-based infrastructure. You will collaborate with commercial and operational teams, optimize workflows, and participate in testing and ongoing support, leveraging C#, .NET,

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or related technical field.
• Experience with C#, .NET, Python, and SQL.
• Understanding of data structures, databases, and analytical workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in cloud technologies and modern software development practices.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
• Experience with reporting tools, APIs, or cloud platforms is advantageous.
• Exposure to commodity trading or financial systems is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities
