Job summary

DEPT® is seeking a Business Intelligence Consultant to turn complex data into clear insights across marketing, ecommerce and performance domains. You’ll work with stakeholders to define KPIs, design dashboards, and guide data-driven decisions for a portfolio of well-known clients in a hybrid setting.

You’ll collaborate with Creative & Media teams in Rotterdam and Amsterdam, applying advanced SQL and multiple BI tools while helping clients adopt data-driven strategies.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in data-driven BI roles.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
• Experience with BI tools (PowerBI, Looker Studio, Looker, Tableau).
• Analytical mindset with client-facing experience.
• Nice to have Fluent Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate discovery workshops with clients to understand business needs.
• Translate business questions into BI requirements and data models.
• Design, prototype and build dashboards for management and specialist users.
• Set up and maintain data integrations from multiple sources.
• Audit data maturity, quality, tooling and processes.
• Collaborate with client and in-house teams to promote best data practices.
• Onboard clients to dashboards and reporting tools.
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline reporting.
