Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) for BYD Commercial Vehicles

You will act as a strategic partner to business leaders, aligning HR strategies with organizational goals and driving business success. You will provide end-to-end HR support across various functions, including organizational development, talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, and culture building.

This role requires a strong business mindset, cross‑cultural communication ability, and solid HR expertise to support the fast‑growing commercial vehicle business in Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Partnership & Organizational Development

    Collaborate closely with business leaders to understand strategic objectives and translate them into actionable HR initiatives.

    Conduct organizational analysis and workforce planning to optimize team structure and efficiency.

    Support the implementation of organizational change and capability‑building programs to enhance overall business performance.

  2. Talent Management & Recruitment

    Lead recruitment efforts for key positions, ensuring timely and high‑quality talent acquisition.

    Partner with hiring managers to design effective talent pipelines and succession plans.

    Facilitate performance management processes to drive accountability, development, and results.

  3. Employee Relations & Culture Building

    Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, providing guidance on employee relations, policies, and conflict resolution.

    Foster a positive and inclusive work culture aligned with BYD’s values and vision.

    Organize employee engagement and communication activities to strengthen morale and teamwork.

  4. HR Operations & Compliance

    Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with Dutch labor laws and BYD’s global standards.

    Oversee employee data accuracy, headcount tracking, and HR reporting.

    Collaborate with regional and global HR teams to ensure consistency and compliance across operations.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of HRBP or generalist experience, ideally within automotive, manufacturing, or other fast‑paced international companies.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, including recruitment, performance management, compensation, and employee relations.
  • Proven ability to partner effectively with business leaders and influence decisions through data‑driven insights.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to work effectively across diverse teams and cultures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with HRIS/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Workday).
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Dutch or Chinese is a strong advantage.
  • Proactive, hands‑on, and results‑oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
