Job summary

One80 Kitchen Lounge Restaurant in Amsterdam West offers an internship in Housekeeping Operations. You will oversee the housekeeping team, ensuring the cleanliness of 707 rooms and 52 shared kitchens, and coordinate with internal and external partners.

You must be an EU student enrolled in an MBO 4 or HBO Hotelschool program, with strong organizational skills and a passion for hospitality. Fluency in English is essential; other languages are a plus, and you must be legally allowed to work in the

Qualifications

You are a student currently enrolled in an EU school
Pursuing facility or hotel management studies (MBO 4 or HBO Hotelschool)
Hospitality interest; prior experience welcome but not required
Teamwork mindset and motivation to lead a team
Organized and able to handle stressful situations calmly
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
Eligible to work in the Netherlands

Responsibilities

Manage the housekeeping team and ensure tasks are performed correctly
Set up operational plan and scheduling
Coordinate tasks and people
Provide leadership and coaching to the team
Be the main contact with guests and suppliers
Control stock and order supplies
Oversee quality for 707 rooms and 52 shared kitchens
Create and implement improvements in housekeeping processes with partners
Plan and schedule the internal housekeeping team for public areas and shared kitchens
