Job summary

Yara is seeking a HESQ & Quality Specialist for our Vlaardingen location, responsible for maintaining and evolving the HESQ and quality policy and ensuring compliance with SEVESO, ISO and related regulations on a daily basis.

You will partner with production, maintenance and management, spanning policy, audits and hands-on practice on the shop floor to embed safety, environment and quality into operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in an HESQ and/or quality role in an industrial or chemical setting.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, audits and management systems.
• Experience with SEVESO, ISO standards and chemical compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and implement HESQ and quality policies.
• Manage management systems and ensure legal and standard compliance.
• Plan and conduct internal and external audits (ISO, RHP, SEVESO).
• Perform risk analyses, inspections, workplace investigations and incident analyses.
• Prepare and track improvement and action plans.
• Advise production and maintenance on HESQ and quality issues.
• Participate in Management of Change and coordinate HAZOP and other safety studies.
• Coordinate product stewardship and chemical compliance (SDS, CLP, REACH, labeling).
• Coordinate and develop the BHV organization and report to stakeholders.
