Job summary

Premier Tech is actively seeking a Health, Safety & Environment Advisor to drive safety excellence across European sites from its Eersel location. You will develop, implement and refine health, safety and environmental practices, coaching managers and teams to own risk controls and maintain compliance with evolving standards.

The role requires strong experience in industrial safety, English and Dutch language skills, and the ability to travel across multiple sites in Europe.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• MVK diploma; HVK is a strong asset.
• Experience setting up, implementing and improving safety programs.
• Strong knowledge of technical safety concepts such as LOTOTO, permits to work, machine safety, CE, ATEX, fall protection, electrical safety, lifting and hand protection.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor safety systems, processes and tools across European sites.
• Advise and support managers and site leaders on all HSE matters.
• Contribute to development and implementation of the occupational health and safety prevention program.
• Coach managers and team members to identify, analyze and resolve risk situations.
• Deliver safety training, onboarding, workshops and coaching for managers and team members.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and positive safety interventions, and recommend improvements.
• Support incident investigations and preventive/corrective measures.
• Coordinate and follow up on (re)certification processes such as ISO 45001 and VCA.
• Deploy local standards, procedures and tools in line with legislation and corporate standards.
• Monitor legal developments and translate into site impact.
• Participate in health and safety committees to strengthen safety culture.
• Support completion of HSE questionnaires from customers and suppliers.
• Collaborate with international HSE colleagues on corporate OHS projects.

Als Health, Safety & Environment Advisor ben je een zichtbare en vertrouwde aanwezigheid op de werkvloer. Vanuit onze vestiging in Eersel ondersteun je meerdere locaties in Europa bij het verder uitbouwen, implementeren en verbeteren van ons veiligheids- en preventiebeleid.

Je bent meer dan een adviseur: je bent een coach, change agent en expert die managers en team members versterkt in hun eigenaarschap rond gezondheid, veiligheid en milieu. Je helpt teams om risico’s te herkennen, correct te beoordelen en doeltreffende beheersmaatregelen te implementeren. Daarbij zorg je ervoor dat lokale praktijken aansluiten bij de bredere standaarden van Premier Tech.

Dit wordt jouw uitdaging

• Veiligheidssystemen, processen en tools ontwikkelen, implementeren en opvolgen om gezondheids-, veiligheids- en milieurisico’s op onze Europese sites te beheersen
• Managers en site leaders adviseren en ondersteunen in alle HSE-gerelateerde vraagstukken
• Actief bijdragen aan de ontwikkeling en implementatie van het preventieprogramma rond occupational health and safety
• Managers en team members coachen in het herkennen, analyseren en oplossen van risicosituaties en gevaarlijke omstandigheden
• Veiligheidstrainingen, onboarding, workshops en coaching voorzien voor zowel managers als team members
• Site-inspecties, audits en positieve veiligheidsinterventies uitvoeren en verbeteracties aanbevelen
• Onderzoeken van incidenten en ongevallen ondersteunen en bijdragen aan preventieve en corrigerende maatregelen
• (Her)certificeringstrajecten coördineren en opvolgen, zoals ISO 45001 en VCA
• Lokale normen, procedures en tools helpen uitrollen in lijn met wetgeving én met de bedrijfsstandaarden van Premier Tech Systems and Automation
• Veranderingen in relevante wet- en regelgeving opvolgen en vertalen naar de impact op de verschillende sites
• Deelnemen aan gezondheids- en veiligheidscomités en bijdragen aan een sterke veiligheidscultuur
• Ondersteunen bij het invullen van HSE-vragenlijsten van klanten en leveranciers
• Samenwerken met internationale HSE-collega’s en deelnemen aan corporate OHS-projecten om kennisdeling en continue verbetering te stimuleren

Wat breng je mee?

• Minstens 5 jaar ervaring in een relevante industriële of productiegerichte omgeving
• Een diploma MVK; HVK is een sterke troef
• Ervaring met het opzetten, uitvoeren en verbeteren van veiligheidsprogramma’s
• Grondige kennis van technische veiligheid, zoals LOTOTO, werkvergunningen, machineveiligheid, CE, ATEX, valbeveiliging, elektrische veiligheid, hijsen en handbescherming
• Kennis van de Nederlandse wet- en regelgeving rond arbeidsveiligheid, met een algemene kennis van de Europese context
• Ervaring met normen en managementsystemen zoals ISO 9001, ISO 14001 en ISO 45001
• Inzicht in productieprocessen en change management binnen een industriële omgeving
• Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden in Nederlands en Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk
• Frans is een pluspunt
• Ervaring met het geven van trainingen en workshops
• Een gestructureerde aanpak, sterke sociale vaardigheden en het vermogen om meerdere projecten tegelijk te beheren
• Goede kennis van Microsoft Office, waaronder Word, Excel en PowerPoint
• Bereidheid om regelmatig te reizen naar verschillende locaties, onder andere in Eersel, Hapert, Hoofddorp en Parma

Your role

As a Health, Safety & Environment Advisor, you will be a visible and trusted presence on the shop floor. From our site in Eersel, you will support multiple European locations in further developing, implementing and improving our health, safety and environment policy.

You are more than an advisor: you are a coach, change agent and expert who empowers managers and team members to take ownership of health, safety and environmental practices. You help teams identify risks, assess them correctly and implement effective control measures. In doing so, you ensure that local practices align with Premier Tech’s broader standards.

Here’s the challenge

• Develop, implement and monitor safety systems, processes and tools to manage health, safety and environmental risks across our European sites
• Advise and support managers and site leaders on all HSE-related matters

• Support the completion of HSE questionnaires from customers and suppliers
• Collaborate with international HSE colleagues and take part in corporate OHS projects to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement

What do you bring to the role?

• At least 5 years of experience in a relevant industrial or manufacturing environment
• An MVK diploma; HVK is a strong asset
• Experience in setting up, implementing and improving safety programs
• Strong knowledge of technical safety, such as LOTOTO, permit to work, machine safety, CE, ATEX, fall protection, electrical safety, lifting and hand protection
• Knowledge of Dutch occupational health and safety legislation, with a general understanding of the wider European context
• Experience with standards and management systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
• Understanding of production processes and change management in an industrial environment
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English, both verbal and written
• French is an asset
• Experience in delivering training sessions and workshops
• A structured approach, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Willingness to travel regularly to various locations, including Eersel, Hapert, Hoofddorp and Parma
