Job description

As our Head of Revenue Operations (RevOps), you'll bridge strategy and execution, combining strong analytical skills with commercial acumen to help leadership understand what's working, what's not, and what to do next.

Reporting to the VP Operations, you'll work with a high degree of autonomy and partner closely with the CRO (through the Chief of Staff) and the CFO. You'll lead two RevOps Managers—one focused on new business and one on expansion—and collaborate closely with the DataOps team on systems and technical implementation.

This role is built around three core strengths: business insight—turning data into meaningful recommendations; translation—connecting leadership priorities with day-to-day execution; and strategic operations—owning the metrics, cadences, and processes that drive commercial performance.

Working closely with the Chief of Staff to the CRO, you'll provide the analytical backbone behind our commercial strategy. While they drive GTM strategy and cross-functional execution, you'll ensure decisions are backed by clear insights, robust business cases, and performance tracking that keeps the organization aligned and accountable.

Your 12-month journey
  • First 3 months: Immerse yourself in the business. Understand the ARR snowball, funnel mechanics, key commercial levers, and the stakeholder landscape across new business and expansion. Build strong relationships with the CRO’s Chief of Staff, Finance leadership, and GTM team leads. Take ownership of the reporting cadence and QBR preparation. Start cross-checking numbers with the teams — get to a level of data confidence that doesn’t exist today.
  • First 6 months: Own the full operating rhythm: weekly forecast and business reviews, monthly deep-dives, quarterly business reviews. Deliver improved pipeline health tracking and ARR analysis. Present your first strategic recommendations on territory coverage, commission impact, or forecast adjustments. Be able to produce a reforecast on the fly based on your understanding of the business.
  • First 12 months: Leadership relies on your analysis to make headcount, territory, and investment decisions. You’ve built the business cases that shaped this year’s commercial strategy. If we want to grow from 15% to 20%, you’re the first person we go to for where to allocate that growth.
What you’ll be doing
  • Business insights & analytical ownership (~50% of your time): This is your primary mandate. You are the person who is kept awake at night until the numbers are clear and understood. Own the analytical layer that drives leadership decisions: ARR dynamics, cohort analysis, pipeline velocity, conversion patterns, churn drivers, NRR, GRR, CAC ratios — per dimension, per segment. You don’t just build reports; you interpret them, cross-check them with the teams, flag anomalies, and push the organization to act. When something unexpected happens — an unusual churn spike, a self-service trend shift, an expansion initiative underperforming — you’re the one who digs in and comes back with an explanation and a recommendation.
  • Operating cadence & accountability (~40% with GTM teams): Design and run the commercial operating rhythm in partnership with the Chief of Staff. Own the weekly forecast and business review cadence, monthly analysis cycles, QBRs (with the right metrics and the right view), and budget/reforecasting processes. You set the expectations, prepare the materials, track initiative efficiency (A/B testing, dashboarding), and ensure follow-through. When a reforecast is needed, you flag it and drive it.
  • Translation & strategic recommendations: You are the translator between the ground and the top. You turn field-level signals into structured insights for Ops leadership and the CRO team. You translate corporate objectives and the Ops roadmap into priorities and actions for the GTM teams. You build business cases that support key commercial decisions: commission scheme design, territory adjustments, growth allocation, capacity planning.
  • Team leadership: Lead and develop two RevOps Managers — one dedicated to new business, one to expansion. Ensure they operate with the same level of analytical rigor and business understanding you bring. Coach them to become strong business partners to the GTM leaders they support.
  • Cross-functional partnership: Work closely with the Chief of Staff to the CRO on QBR preparation, performance intelligence, and strategic initiatives. Partner with the DataOps team for system architecture, integrations, and technical builds. Collaborate with Finance on unit economics, budget tracking, and reforecasting.
What you bring

We’re looking for someone who has been the #1 RevOps / Business Operations leader in a B2B SaaS company in the €50m–€100m ARR range, or a strong #2 in a larger organization (€100m–€250m ARR). You lead with business judgment and analytical depth — not systems administration.

Must-haves

  • Proven experience leading a RevOps or Business Operations function end-to-end in B2B SaaS, with direct ownership of business metrics and commercial cadences.
  • Deep understanding of recurring revenue models, ARR mechanics, and commercial finance: NRR, GRR, CAC ratios, commissions, capacity planning, unit economics.
  • Obsessive analytical rigor: you cross-check, you dig in, you don’t stop until the numbers tell a coherent story. You can produce a reforecast on the go.
  • Proven track record of producing analytical work that drives executive decisions — business cases, scenario models, strategic recommendations — not just dashboards.
  • Strong stakeholder management: you present to C-levels, challenge assumptions, and hold commercial leaders accountable. You do this through credibility and data, not authority.
  • Experience designing and running operating cadences: weekly business reviews, QBRs, forecast cycles. You know what good looks like and you enforce it.
  • Team management experience: you’ve built or led a small RevOps team and can develop people.
  • English at C2 level. Fluency in Dutch or French is a strong advantage.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with HubSpot, Planhat, Modjo, or Qobra.
  • Familiarity with BI tools (Metabase or similar) and SQL — enough to pull your own analysis autonomously.
  • Exposure to data engineering concepts (dbt, data warehousing) — enough to collaborate with a DataOps team.
  • Awareness of how AI is evolving the ops operating model.
  • Experience working across multiple European geographies (NL, FR, DE).
What we offer
  • Flexibility to work from home and from our canal side office in Amsterdam
  • A chance to shape one of the most ambitious scale-ups in Europe
  • Work in a diverse and multicultural team
  • €1,500 annual training budget plus internal training
  • Pension plan, travel reimbursement, and wellness perks
  • 28 paid holiday days + 2 additional days to relax
  • Work from anywhere for 4 weeks/year
  • Apple MacBook and tools
  • €200 home office budget

This role can be both based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands or Paris, France. Benefits can differ based on location.
