About the Role

As a Quality Lead at Gisou you will be responsible for the continuous improvement, standardization, and professionalization of our quality systems and processes. This senior role reports to the VP of Supply Chain and sits on the Supply Chain Leadership Team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance strategy for the supply chain, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to establish and maintain quality standards throughout the entire supply chain lifecycle.
• Design and oversee the implementation of robust quality control processes, including the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve overall quality.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing data, identifying trends, and implementing corrective and preventive actions to enhance overall supply chain efficiency and reliability.
• Develop and implement robust quality qualification processes for new suppliers, manufacturers, materials, and packaging, ensuring these standards are sustainable, scalable, and consistently applied across the company.
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring they meet quality standards and promoting a culture of quality within the supply chain network through tracking and documentation routines and ongoing auditing processes.
• Collaborate with the product development team to integrate quality requirements into new product launches and design changes, through rigorous qualification processes for new formulations, materials and packaging.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential quality issues and develop mitigation strategies to minimize supply chain disruptions.
• Undertake quality audits for current and new suppliers.
• Work with the customer experience team to review consumer and customer complaints and create action plans to mitigate issues.

Qualifications

• 8 to 12 years of experience in a leadership role within quality assurance, preferably in beauty & personal care supply chain environments.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a keen attention to detail; effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and show impact in a fast‑moving high‑growth environment.
• Project management experience, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to work directly with suppliers on the production floor to identify and resolve issues, drive quality standards, and build effective operational relationships.
