What started as a hardware business has grown into a global leader in horticulture and building automation. Today, Priva develops advanced hardware, software, and digital services for climate control, energy efficiency, and water optimization. Our solutions support horticulture, indoor and city farming, as well as offices, hotels, hospitals, and retail environments worldwide.

Our next ambition? Becoming a leading digital service provider with “Climate as a Service” solutions that help customers operate more sustainably.

With over 600 colleagues, 16 international offices, and more than 400 installation partners, we deliver smart, sustainable solutions in over 100 countries.

How You Add Value

As a Hardware Team Lead, you play a key role in coordinating the day‑to‑day activities of the hardware team and ensuring priorities, processes, and ways of working are clear, effective, and aligned with business goals.

You help the team deliver reliable hardware solutions by bringing focus, planning, and consistency to the development process. Working closely with product management, project managers, systems engineering, software, quality, and external development partners, you ensure the team is organised, supported, and able to perform at its best.

Your Responsibilities
  • Be the primary interface and first point of contact for internal teams and external partners into the Hardware team
  • Define, coordinate and manage the internal and external communication paths and processes
  • In collaboration with the project managers, coordinate the activities, priorities, and workload of the hardware team across development and maintenance projects
  • Translate business and project objectives into clear team plans, aligned priorities, and realistic execution timelines
  • Implement and maintain an effective risk management process
  • Build a structured and traceable approach to requirements, verification, documentation, and change management
  • Define clear interfaces and collaboration models within the organisation and with our external partners
  • Help the team identify and remove blockers, manage dependencies, and escalat[e] risks when needed
  • Monitor progress, quality, and delivery performance, and ensure actions are followed up
  • Contribute to resource planning and capacity management
  • Coach team members in effective collaboration, ownership, and disciplined execution
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, practical problem‑solving, and reliable delivery
