Job summary

FedEx Express Netherlands B.V. zoekt een Handler voor 24 uur per week. Je laadt en lost zendingen volgens procedure en voorkomt schade aan goederen. Je rijdt met de vorkheftruck en andere hef- en transporterend materieel en helpt bij het sorteren.

Je scant zendingen tijdens los- en laadprocessen, meldt beschadigde verpakkingen direct aan de Operations Supervisor, past routinglabels toe en zorgt voor een efficiënte planning van taken terwijl het warehouse schoon blijft.

Qualifications

• Beheerst Nederlands en Engels mondeling en schriftelijk.
• Beveilig toekomst en veiligheid.

Responsibilities

• Laden en lossen van zendingen volgens procedures zodat geen schade ontstaat aan goederen.
• Het besturen van hef- en transporterend materieel en sorteren van zendingen.
• Zendingen scannen tijdens los- en laad- en sorteerstappen.
• Direct melden van beschadigde/ondeugdelijke verpakkingen aan Operations Supervisor.
• Zorg dragen voor juiste routinglabels indien nodig.
• Zo efficiënt mogelijk indelen van opdrachten en middelen optimaal gebruiken.
• Zorg voor schoonhouden van het warehouse tijdens het werk.

Position Summary

Vacature Handler 32 uur

• Laden en lossen van zendingen volgens procedure zodanig dat er geen beschadiging ontstaan aan de goederen van onze klanten of andere materialen
• Het besturen van de vorkheftruck en ander heffend en transporterend materieel en daarmee behulpzaam zijn bij het sorteren van de zendingen
• Scannen van de zendingen in het los-, laad- en sorteerproces
• Direct rapporteren van beschadigde/ondeugdelijke verpakkingen en/of geopende zendingen aan de Operations Supervisor.
• In voorkomende gevallen zendingen voorzien van de juiste routinglabels
• Het zo efficiënt mogelijk indelen van opgedragen werk en het optimaal gebruiken van de ter beschikking gestelde middelen.
• Zorgen voor het schoonhouden van het warehouse tijdens het werk.

Job Description

• Loading and unloading shipments according to procedure in such a way that no damage occurs to our customers’ goods or other materials
• Operating the forklift and other lifting and transport equipment, and thereby assisting with the sorting of shipments
• Scanning shipments during the unloading, loading, and sorting processes
• Immediately reporting damaged or defective packaging and/or opened shipments to the Operations Supervisor
• Applying the correct routing labels to shipments as needed
• Organizing assigned tasks as efficiently as possible and making optimal use of the resources provided
• Ensuring the warehouse remains clean during work.
