Job summary
Elsevier is seeking a seasoned strategy professional to shape and drive growth across our Corporate R&D solutions. You will define market opportunities, guide product development, and accelerate expansion by collaborating with senior strategy, product and commercial leaders.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or higher in a relevant field (Business, Economics, Engineering, Chemistry or related).
- Strategy consulting experience (3+ years) with a top-tier firm or in-house strategy team.
- Experience in R&D-intensive industries (chemicals, semiconductors, energy tech, automotive).
- Ability to develop strategic frameworks and translate insights into actionable narratives.
Responsibilities
- Develop product-level strategies for agentic solutions and specialty databases.
- Guide roadmaps aligned with portfolio strategy and market needs.
- Analyze competitive landscape and identify partnerships/M&A opportunities.
- Conduct market research to uncover new growth opportunities.
- Lead strategic initiatives including growth assessments and partnerships.
- Communicate strategic insights to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Translate complex insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
