Luba in Tilburg zoekt een Grinding Operator die precisiewerk levert aan hoogwaardige metaalcomponenten. Je stelt slijpmachines in en bedient CNC- en conventionele apparatuur, en werkt aan onderdelen volgens strikte toleranties.

Je voert metingen uit met micrometers en hoogtemeters, registreert resultaten en past slijpprocessen aan waar nodig. Daarnaast draag je bij aan Lean en 5S-initiatieven en werkt in een veilige, schone productieomgeving.

Qualificações

• Ervaring met slijpoperaties is een voordeel.
• Leeg lezen en interpreteren van technische tekeningen.
• Gebruik van precisie meetinstrumenten zoals micrometeren, schuifmallen en hoogtemeters.
• Goede beheersing van Engels (mondeling en schriftelijk).
• Precieze, kwaliteitsgerichte en veiligheidsbewuste werkhouding.

Responsabilidades

• Instellen en bedienen van CNC- en/of conventionele slijpmachines.
• Precisieschade controleren en onderdelen afwerken volgens specificaties.
• Metingen verrichten met micrometers, calipers en hoogtemeters en resultaten registreren.
• Wielen en gereedschappen vervangen/afstellen; afwijkingen identificeren en corrigerende acties nemen.
• Bijdragen aan Lean- en 5S-verbetertrajecten voor een veilige, schone en efficiënte werkomgeving.

Over de vacature:

As a Grinding Operator, you will be responsible for the precision grinding and finishing of high-value metal components. Grinding is a critical step in the repair process, ensuring that parts are restored to their original manufacturer specifications.

In this role, you will set up and operate CNC and/or conventional grinding machines to machine components with extremely tight tolerances, often within hundredths or even thousandths of a millimeter. You will read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions to ensure every component is processed accurately and meets strict quality standards.

Throughout the production process, you will perform precise measurements using instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges, while accurately recording measurement results. You will also replace and adjust grinding wheels and tooling when necessary, identify deviations, and take appropriate action to maintain product quality. In addition, you will actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by applying Lean and 5S principles, helping to optimize processes while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.

• Work in a two-shift schedule: Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:45 PM and Monday to Thursday: 3:30 PM - 1:15 AM (Fridays off)
