Omschrijving functie werkzaamhedenSoursop is a creative agency founded in 2019 that works across advertising, editorial and impact. Our superpower is being able to cross-pollinate between the different creative industries we work in to ensure our partners can find true cultural relevancy in a crowded and saturated global marketplace. For us cultural relevance is the smartest, and most sustainable way to achieve real business transformation and success. We are obsessed with creating strategies, ideas and work that reaches, moves and lasts with audiences due to our obsession with culturally nuanced, creatively excellent craft. Platforming and celebrating marginalised and alternative points of view is part of our DNA. You’ll see it in our teams, our collaborators and the stories we love to tell. It’s what allows us to stay ahead of where trends and pop culture are going. We firmly believe in the power of openness and collaboration when bringing new and ambitious ideas to life.

We're looking for a Designer (0.8 FTE) to join our Amsterdam studio. Someone who genuinely loves the craft of design, from building out a visual identity to making a deck into something people actually want to look at. Most of what you'll work on day to day is exactly that: decks, templates, internal tools, though "internal" doesn't mean low stakes. A lot of it ends up in front of C-suite audiences, where good design genuinely changes how an idea lands. You've also got the eye and instinct to lead on stronger identity and concept work when it's needed, but this isn't a role built around big campaign art direction. We do that occasionally, not constantly, and we're looking for someone who's excited about that balance, not chasing campaign work as the main event. You obsess over type, layout, colour, and the small stuff that makes something feel right. You can take an idea from a loose brief to a full concept on your own, and you care as much about a deck template as you would about a brand identity. Because to you, good design is good design, no matter where it shows up.
