Supported by a dedicated mentor and a network of experienced professionals from across Haskoning, you will have the opportunity to develop practical solutions, methodologies or tools that help ports respond to the rapidly changing demands of the maritime industry.
As a Port Planning Graduation Intern, you will undertake a Master's graduation assignment focused on an emerging challenge or opportunity within the port and maritime sector. Your assignment will combine academic rigour with industry relevance, allowing you to explore a topic in depth while developing practical outcomes that can be applied within the sector.
You will work independently on your graduation assignment, while receiving guidance from a dedicated mentor and drawing upon the expertise of specialists from across Haskoning. Throughout your internship, you will engage with professionals working on port development projects worldwide, helping you connect academic knowledge with real-world industry perspectives.

As an Intern you will join Haskoning's Port Planning team, a multidisciplinary group of specialists working across the full project lifecycle, from strategic studies and master plans through to feasibility studies and business cases. Our projects support ports as they respond to growing trade demands, digitalisation, decarbonisation and the energy transition.
We are looking for a motivated and inquisitive Master's student with an interest in ports, logistics and infrastructure development. You enjoy tackling complex challenges, working independently and transforming ideas into practical solutions. You are comfortable engaging with different perspectives and are eager to connect academic knowledge with industry practice.
We are only able to consider candidates who are currently based in the Netherlands, as we cannot support relocation or visa sponsorship for internship positions.
