Job summary

IMC B.V. invites you to join a five-week Global Trainee Programme as a Graduate Software Engineer in Amsterdam, starting February or August 2027. You’ll work with seasoned engineers and traders, writing production software in C++, Java or Python, and deepen your understanding of trading and financial markets.

You'll continue at IMC's local office with a dedicated mentor and participate in projects across execution and strategy teams, building networks, algorithms, and high-performance systems.

Qualifications

• In your final year of study in computer science or software engineering and seeking full-time in February or August 2027.
• Proficiency in C++ or Java is required; Python is preferred.
• Working knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
• First-class analytical skills and a desire to solve problems programmatically.
• Genuine interest in financial markets with no prior knowledge required.

Responsibilities
