Graduate Analyst - Treasury & Financial Markets

Rotterdam, The Netherlands | Full-time

Launch your career at the heart of global finance

Are you an early-career finance professional with up to three years of experience and a strong interest in financial markets, corporate finance, and treasury? Whether you've recently graduated or already gained your first professional experience, this role offers a unique opportunity to accelerate your career within a global Treasury organization.

At Bunge, you'll join a small, highly skilled international team that operates at the center of the company's financial decision-making. From capital markets and corporate funding to financial risk management and strategic finance projects, you'll work on challenges that directly impact a global business operating in more than 50 countries.

This is not a traditional entry-level finance role. You'll gain broad exposure across multiple Treasury disciplines, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and develop expertise that can serve as a launchpad for a long‑term career in Treasury, Corporate Finance, Financial Markets, or broader Finance leadership roles.

What you'll be doing

You’ll gain exposure across multiple areas of Corporate Treasury and Financial Markets, including:

  • Analyzing liquidity positions.
  • Helping manage foreign exchange, interest rate, and commodity market risks through analysis and hedging activities.
  • Building financial models and delivering insights that support strategic decision-making.
  • Supporting interactions with banks, rating agencies, and other external financial stakeholders.
  • Contributing to international financing projects across Bunge's global network.
  • Developing cash flow forecasts, funding projections, and treasury analytics to support business growth.

No two days are the same. You'll work on a diverse mix of projects across funding, financial risk management, capital markets, forecasting, and international finance, giving you a broad foundation in Corporate Treasury.

Who are we looking for?

We're looking for intellectually curious individuals who enjoy solving complex problems, working with data, and understanding how financial markets impact global businesses.

Education & Experience

  • Master's degree in Finance, Financial Economics, Economics, Econometrics, Business Administration, or another relevant quantitative discipline.
  • You are an early-career finance professional looking to build a long-term career in Treasury, Financial Markets, or Corporate Finance.
  • Internship or professional experience within banking, treasury, corporate finance, asset management, financial advisory, consulting, or a comparable finance environment is highly valued.
  • Strong academic track record.

Skills & Qualities

  • Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities.
  • Interest in financial markets, corporate finance, and macroeconomic developments.
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Affinity with data analytics, AI tools, and emerging technologies.
  • Strong communication skills in English.

You are:

  • Curious, ambitious, and eager to learn.
  • Proactive and comfortable taking ownership.
  • Hands‑on and solution‑oriented.
  • Confident building relationships with stakeholders.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and solving complex challenges.
  • Able to thrive in a fast‑paced, international environment.

What we offer

  • Exposure to a broad range of Treasury and Corporate Finance activities.
  • The opportunity to rotate across different areas within Treasury and develop a well‑rounded skill set.
  • A dedicated buddy and mentor to support your development.
  • Direct exposure to senior stakeholders, banking partners, and rating agencies.
  • Meaningful work and responsibility from day one.
  • Continuous learning and development opportunities.
  • International career opportunities within a global organization.
  • A collaborative team environment where your ideas and contributions matter.

What Bunge offers:

Treasury at Bunge offers a unique combination of breadth, responsibility, and international exposure. You'll work on projects ranging from capital markets and risk management to liquidity planning and affiliate finance, gaining experience that few early‑career finance professionals have access to.

Our comprehensive offer includes:

  • Competitive Compensation & Benefits: A competitive salary package, an annual bonus scheme based on company results and individual performance, an attractive and fully funded pension scheme, and an additional full month’s salary each year as an annual holiday allowance together with 27 holiday days a year (based on full‑time employment).

Through hands‑on experience across funding, financial risk management, capital markets, liquidity planning, and international finance, you'll build a broad Treasury skillset from day one. Supported by a dedicated buddy, mentor, and ongoing development opportunities, you'll be well‑positioned to grow into a Treasury specialist or pursue wider opportunities across Bunge's global Finance organization.
  • Modern Workspace & Perks: Our modern, inspiring office in the center of Rotterdam (adjacent to the Markthal and Blaak station) offers complimentary daily lunch service, a business laptop, and reimbursement for public transport travel.
