Job summary

Crystalloids, a Premier Google Cloud partner, seeks an Analytics Engineer to design robust data models and build scalable data platforms on Google Cloud. You will transform raw data into clean, documented datasets and collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver value.

You will work with dbt, Python, SQL, and BigQuery within a Cloud-first environment, owning data ingestion pipelines and promoting CI/CD practices. Rotterdam-based role with international exposure and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in Data Modeling, Data Engineering, and Data Analytics.
• Hands-on Cloud experience with GCP.
• Proficiency in core tools: dbt, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Run, Cloud Composer/Apache Airflow, Dataform, Terraform; version control with Git.
• Programming languages: Python, Java, or other OO language; SQL.
• Experience with Agile development (Scrum), TDD, UML, and scripting (Shell).
• Strong problem-solving abilities and cross-functional collaboration.
• GCP Professional certificate is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust data models with dbt.
• Transform raw data into clean, documented datasets for reporting and analytics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business logic into technical solutions.
• Write efficient SQL, Python, and data transformation pipelines for BigQuery and other GCP services.
• Own data ingestion and reliable pipeline execution using Cloud Composer, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.
• Implement Analytics Engineering as Code with automated tests and CI/CD.
