Als Goods Receipt Employee werk je in Ridderkerk in een moderne, gekoelde logistieke omgeving en ben je verantwoordelijk voor ontvangst, inboeken en opslag van goederen.

Het team van meer dan 350 collega’s streeft naar orde, netheid en veiligheid, met een twee-ploegendienst van 6:00 tot 19:00 uur van maandag tot vrijdag en af en toe

Qualifications

• Minimaal VMBO niveau van werken en denken.
• Spreekt Nederlands of Engels.
• Bij voorkeur 1 jaar ervaring in logistiek.
• Beschikbaarheid voor 2-ploegin 6:00–19:00.
• Fysiek in staat werken in koude omgeving.
• Proactieve en nauwkeurige werkhouding.
• Betrouwbaar en teamgericht.

Responsibilities

• Bestellen, controleren en aanvullen verpakkingsmaterialen

Over de functie

As a Goods Receipt Employee, you will work in the warehouse at Van Gelder Groente & Fruit. Together with your colleagues, you make sure all packaging materials are in stock and ordered on time for various departments. You are responsible for receiving and unpacking incoming goods and ensuring that everything ends up in the right place in the cold storage. Using an electric pump truck, you easily transport products through the warehouse. You book the received goods directly into the system so you always keep an overview and pay close attention to cleanliness and safety on the work floor. You do all this in a chilled environment, working in two shifts between 6:00 and 19:00. You work Monday through Friday, and occasionally on Saturday mornings.

• Ordering, checking, and replenishing packaging materials
• Receiving and unpacking goods in the warehouse
• Correctly booking goods into the system
• Transporting goods with an electric pump truck
• Ensuring order, cleanliness, and safety on the work floor
• Working in a chilled environment (cold storage)
• Flexible work in a 2-shift schedule between 6:00 and 19:00

Wat wij vragen

• You have at least a VMBO working and thinking level
• You speak Dutch or English
• Preferably, you have 1 year of experience as a logistics employee, warehouse worker, or order picker
• You can work in 2 shifts between 6:00 and 19:00
• You are physically able to work in a cold environment
• You have a proactive and accurate work attitude
• You are reliable and enjoy working in a team
