Job summary

Gcore seeks a distributed systems engineer to design and deliver a Slurm-on-Kubernetes service and GPU scheduling platform. You will write clean Go code and help scale GPU-intensive workloads across edge and cloud regions.

You’ll collaborate with partners and clients, own features end-to-end, and drive observability with Grafana and VictoriaMetrics while ensuring reliability and performance in a fast-growing AI-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Slurm usage in production from a user perspective.
• Strong Go development skills for production-grade Kubernetes operators.
• Experience keeping Slurm behavior under Kubernetes.
• Ability to diagnose GPU, scheduler, network, and storage issues.
• Product mindset with customer empathy and end-to-end ownership.
• Excellent communication for distributed-system challenges.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a managed Slurm service on Kubernetes.
• Write clean, reliable Go code for production use.
• Develop scheduling and orchestration for GPU-intensive workloads.
• Build observability and automated remediation using VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, DCGM.
