Job summary

Nebul in Leiden is seeking a Cloud Orchestration Lead to guide a Go development team in building the core orchestration layer of the Nebul Cloud platform. This role requires deep software engineering expertise along with strong leadership capabilities.

The successful candidate will play a central role in shaping the architecture and technical direction while collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as a senior or lead backend/software engineer with clear progression into technical leadership.
• Proven ability to lead engineering teams and drive delivery in complex, distributed environments.
• Deep hands-on experience with backend development, preferably with strong experience in Go.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a Go-focused development team, supporting delivery and engineering quality.
• Drive architectural decisions for the Nexus orchestration layer.
• Design, build and improve cloud-native services using Go and Python.
