Job summary

ABN AMRO Bank N.V. is seeking a Supplier Contract Risk Manager to help build and shape a new SCRM department within the Corporate Information Security Office.

You will oversee risk management across supplier contracts for Wealth Management branches in Belgium, Germany and France, focusing on cybersecurity, data privacy, and operational resilience. You will advise stakeholders, monitor risk across the contract lifecycle, update contracts, and drive mitigation actions.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in risk management or contract management.
• Knowledge in information security, data privacy, and other risk domains.
• Experience in banking/financial sector.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical processes and controls.
• Familiarity with contract management methodologies (e.g. CATS CM).
• Fluency in French and/or German is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Advise and support business units and Procurement in selecting, contracting, and managing suppliers, ensuring Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) processes and best practices are consistently applied
• Identify, assess, monitor, and drive mitigation of supplier and contract risks throughout the full contract lifecycle
• Maintain oversight of the supplier portfolio and risk profiles, proactively identifying risks and improvement opportunities
• Coordinate risk governance by communicating, escalating, and following up on supplier risks with key stakeholders
• Ensure risk controls are implemented and monitored with evidence for audits and regulatory reviews
• Contribute to continuous improvement of TPRM processes, tools, and reporting
• Raise awareness of supplier risk management practices and provide training
• Coordinate the implementation of regulatory changes (e.g. DORA)
• Support junior colleagues through training, mentoring and coaching
