Job summary

B&S International B.V. is seeking an experienced International Trader to independently manage both purchasing and sales in meat, poultry or seafood, negotiating contracts and building your own international network.

You will monitor quality, ensure compliance, and drive the commercial success of your own business within B&S, supported by our global infrastructure, logistics and cold storage capabilities. Frequent international travel is needed.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years’ experience as an International Trader in meat, poultry or seafood.
• Strong international network of clients and suppliers within at least one of these sectors.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel internationally frequently and extensively.
• HBO level of working and thinking.

Responsibilities

• Actively sourcing and selling meat, poultry or seafood on international markets.
• Independently building and expanding your own international network of customers and suppliers.
• Negotiating contracts, prices and terms of delivery.
• Taking responsibility for the growth and commercial success of your own business within B&S.
• Monitoring market trends and responding to them to create commercial opportunities.
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth logistics and administration.
