BOOG werkt seeks a Logistics Coordinator for the sea freight export department in the Breda region. The role involves daily international contact with colleagues, customers and carriers to transport purchases and sales worldwide.

You must be able to prioritize and switch between customers and forwarders, enjoying growth opportunities in an international environment. You will organize international sea freight transports, check LC documents, and maintain carrier communication, all while keeping

Qualifications

• Completed logistics education at HBO level.
• Recent experience with sea freight (deepsea) at a forwarder or trading environment.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic, international setting.
• Ability to prioritize and switch between customers, forwarders and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Organize international sea freight transports (including cross-trade) daily with fixed forwarders.
• Coordinate with the fixed sales colleague who sells raw materials to customers worldwide.
• Check documents such as Letters of Credit and maintain direct contact with carriers and customers.
• Book shipments with forwarders and follow up until arrival.
• Inform customers in English and possibly a second foreign language.
