Job summary

JDE Peet's in Utrecht is seeking a Global Procurement Finance Controller to partner with Procurement, translate data into actionable insights, and help drive value across the supply chain.

You will own the procurement forecast as part of the Annual Operating Plan, manage month-end closing for procurement, and deliver performance reports that support rapid decision making across regions.

Qualifications

• Finance business partnering experience with the ability to translate data into insights.
• Strong SAP experience with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI.
• Forecasting, budgeting and month-end closing experience in a procurement/finance setting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Procurement to provide financial insights and drive value across the supply chain.
• Own the procurement forecast as part of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
• Manage month-end closing for procurement and prepare the related reports.
• Drive working capital improvements through smarter payment term optimization.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Business Partnering: be the go-to finance voice for Procurement, bringing insights that actually move the needle
• Forecasting: own the procurement forecast as part of the Annual Operations Plan (AOP): keep it sharp, keep it accurate
• Performance Management: track and evaluate Procurement's performance against key financial metrics, including Indirect productivity
• Month-End Closing & Reporting: run the month-end close for procurement and prep the reports that fuel monthly reviews
• Working Capital Improvement: drive OWC improvement with Procurement through smarter payment term optimization

Qualifications

• A results-driven, analytical mindset: you take ownership and don't shy away from responsibility
• Solid experience in finance business partnering, with a clear sense of the value you bring to the table
• Strong analytical skills: comfortable navigating complex data without losing sight of the bigger picture
• Confident communicator, able to turn numbers into insights that actually land with people
• Hands-on with SAP and strong across Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI
• Comfortable working across diverse, multicultural teams and regions
• Able to stay focused and deliver when things get fast-paced and pressure kicks in
