Job summary

TANATEX Chemicals in Ede, Netherlands seeks a dual-focused professional to support daily production planning and manage weekly scheduling. The role also coordinates China-Netherlands technology transfer and upgrade projects on-site, including documentation, equipment checks, and cross-border communication.

Fluency in Mandarin and English is required, with Dutch as a strong plus. The successful candidate will be based on-site in Ede and collaborate across multiple teams in China and Europe.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or above in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
• Prior experience in fine/specialty chemical production processes, kettle/reactor operations, or process engineering design is preferred.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and written), able to independently handle technical document translation and on-site communication between China and Netherlands teams; Dutch language ability is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Support daily production planning and weekly/monthly rolling scheduling; track capacity loading and order fulfillment.
• Provide process-side support for production stability and product realization, including process parameter confirmation, batch deviation handling, and on-site coordination of bottleneck steps such as filtration and filling.
• Work with the supply chain team to implement backlog-clearance, batch-size optimization, and changeover-loss reduction initiatives on site.
• Act as the resident liaison between the China process engineering team and the Ede plant, coordinating on-site technical work, including process documentation, equipment condition verification, and pilot/trial-run coordination.
• Coordinate technical upgrade projects and track investment budget execution, coordinating on-site logistics and technical material preparation during China-based engineers' visits to Ede.
• Support preparation of compliance documentation related to hazardous process relocations, including phased relocation submissions to Dutch regulatory authorities.
