Job summary

Van Oord in Rotterdam seeks a Group Controller to join the Group Reporting & Control team within the central Finance & Control department. You will support the reporting cycle, provide financial analysis and decision support to drive strategic and business decisions, and contribute to external reporting and statutory accounts.

You take initiative, communicate clearly and work with stakeholders across the business in an international setting.

Qualifications

• A university degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related field, preferably including CA, RA or RC.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in an international business environment.
• Experience in a project environment is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken, with a willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Support the reporting cycle through financial reviews and reconciliations.
• Perform financial analysis and provide decision support to drive strategic and business decisions.
• Design and strengthen reporting processes, controls and ESG reporting.
• Coordinate with external audits and reviews and ensure timely financial reporting.
