Job summary

Travix is seeking a Financial Controller to lead monthly and yearly closes, manage consolidation for the Trip.com group, and prepare statutory statements for local entities. The role also oversees audits, intercompany activities, and internal controls within a fast-paced, international setting.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in a financial controller role or similar position.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and local audit processes.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, international environment.
• Proficiency in financial software and systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with various stakeholders effectively.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently and efficiently, quickly taking action on tasks that require immediate attention.

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end and year-end close, including general ledger oversight and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Prepare the monthly consolidation and management reporting, including group reporting packs for Trip.com.
• Prepare the statutory financial statements for the local entities.
• Serve as the main point of contact for local audits and support the group audit process, ensuring audits are completed on schedule.
• Manage intercompany accounting and reconciliations across group entities.
• Maintain internal controls and accounting policies.
• Support tax compliance, including VAT, corporate income tax and transfer pricing, together with external advisors.
• Identify and implement finance process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
