Job summary

GKN Aerospace is seeking a Global Commodity Senior Buyer - Direct Material in Papendrecht, NL to support development and execution of global commodity strategies, improve cost competitiveness, and manage supplier performance.

You will lead sourcing, supplier negotiations, and onboarding for assigned commodities, work with Engineering and Costing, and ensure compliance with aerospace standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Economics, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in tactical and strategic procurement of direct materials.
• Strong experience in supplier management, sourcing and contract negotiations.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 25%.

• Support the commodity team to meet cost, quality and supply chain targets.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for growth and resilience.
