Job summary

Sentior, Ltd. in the Netherlands is seeking a Geospatial Data Specialist to maintain geospatial datasets, ensure QA/QC, and support GIS operations across cloud and on‑prem environments. You will collaborate with analysts, developers, and engineers to optimize workflows and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geospatial Sciences or related field plus 2 years geospatial data management experience.
• Alternatively, 6+ years of relevant experience without a degree.
• At least 2 years experience with ESRI Enterprise Suite, especially ArcGIS Pro.
• Strong knowledge of coordinates, projections, and metadata.
• Experience QA/QC of geospatial data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Fluent business English; able to work in multinational teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, organize, and manage geospatial datasets and metadata.
• Support data ingestion, transformation, validation, and QA processes.
• Develop and maintain geodatabases and spatial data repositories.
• Monitor and maintain spatial data integrity, consistency, and version control.
• Coordinate data backups and archival procedures.
• Maintain documentation for geospatial datasets, workflows, and system configurations.
• Support data governance and compliance with GIS standards.
• Support geospatial environments hosted in cloud platforms and on-premises servers.
• Coordinate with Geospatial IT personnel to maintain secure GIS operations.
• Assist with deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of GIS services and applications.

• Support data preparation for modelling, reporting, and decision-making activities.
• Assist in generating standard GIS products and analytical outputs.
