Job summary

Center Parcs Europe is seeking a General Accounting Transversal Expert to oversee and standardize accounting processes across the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France. You will coordinate activities across multiple entities and ensure records are accurate and compliant.

The role involves close collaboration with SSC, controlling, tax, auditors and other stakeholders to drive automation and harmonisation of processes in an international finance environment. Dutch language is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Economics or related field.
• Fluent Dutch required.
• Experience coordinating accounting scopes in international multi-entity environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transversal accounting activities across multiple Center Parcs Europe entities and countries.
• Safeguard accuracy, completeness and compliance of accounting records and reporting.
• Contribute to month-end closings, year-end closings and audits.
• Collaborate with accounting teams, SSC, controlling, tax, auditors and stakeholders.
• Help improve, standardise and automate accounting processes across countries.

You work across the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France, ensuring that accounting records are accurate, complete and compliant. In doing so, you help Center Parcs Europe further standardise, improve and automate accounting processes across countries.

Your daily impact

• You coordinate transversal accounting activities across multiple Center Parcs Europe entities and countries.
• You safeguard the accuracy, completeness and compliance of accounting records, financial statements and related reporting.
• You contribute to month-end closings, year-end closings, statutory accounting, audits and internal controls.
• You work closely with accounting teams, the external Shared Service Center, controlling, tax, auditors and other internal stakeholders.
• You help improve, standardise and automate accounting processes across countries within an international finance environment.

Profile

Does this sound like you?

• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Economics or a related field.
• You have at least five years of relevant accounting experience in an international multi-entity environment, including experience coordinating complex accounting scopes or teams.
• You have knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP, statutory accounting, audits, internal controls, ERP/SAP environments and stakeholder management.
• For this role, fluent Dutch is required
