Job summary

Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam is seeking a highly motivated candidate for a fully-funded, four-year PhD position in causal inference within the Safe Causal Inference consortium. You will work on triangulation of performance assessment methods for conditional causal quantities, join a team of PhD researchers across the Netherlands, and be supervised by three professors.

The main working location is the Mathematics department at VU, where you will join the research group on causal inference.

Qualifications

• Prospective MSc in Mathematics, Statistics or Econometrics.
• Strong background in statistics and causal inference.
• Good English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research towards writing a PhD thesis.
• Teaching tasks (roughly 15% of your time), e.g., supervising exercise classes.
