Job summary

Keylane is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to help develop digital pension portals for employers, advisors and participants. You will work across the full stack, building intuitive front-end interfaces while also developing the backend services that power them.

You will collaborate with Software Engineers, Test Engineers, Design Engineers and a Product Owner to deliver high-quality functionality from concept to production, participate in technical discussions and code reviews, and

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of software development experience in a SaaS or enterprise environment.
• Experience developing apps using Kotlin and/or Java and modern frameworks such as Micronaut.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js preferred), TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Commitment to writing clean, maintainable, well-tested code with focus on quality and performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain digital pension portals and supporting services used by employers, advisors and participants.

Key About Your Role

As a Full Stack Software Engineer within a team, you develop andmaintainthe digital portals andsupportingservices that pension providers use to interact with employers,advisorsand participants. You work across the full technology stack, building intuitive user interfaces while also developing and enhancing the backend services that power them.

Together withSoftwareEngineers, Test Engineers, DesignEngineersand a Product Owner, you take ownership of delivering high-quality functionality from concept to production. Youanalysefunctional requirements, translate them into technicalsolutionsand contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle.

You helpfurthermodernisingour technologylandscape by improving existing applications, developing newfeaturesand contributing to architectural and engineering improvements. This includes initiativessuchasmodernisingfront-end components,enhancing backend services and APIs, improving performance and maintainability,and supporting the migration towards modern technologies and development practices.

You activelyparticipatein technical discussions, codereviewsand knowledge sharing. As part of a broader engineering community, you continuously look for opportunities to improve both your own skills and our products.

Key About Your Team

The Plexus Digital Engagement (PDE) cluster creates and manages the online portals that pension providers use to interact with employers,advisorsand participants.

We support both long-timecustomers using existing portal solutions and newcustomersadopting our modern PDE platform. Our team combines product experts,engineersand support specialists who work together to deliver andmaintaincustomer portals and ensure they run smoothly and securely.

PDE playsan important rolein helping pension funds and insurers offer clear, user-friendly digital services and supportsKeylane’sgrowth through new implementations and upgrades. You will work in a collaborative and experienced team where ownership,qualityand continuous improvement are central.

Requirements

• You have at least 3–5 years of experience in software development within a SaaS or enterprise environment;

• You have experience developing applications usingKotlinand/or Javaand modern frameworks such asMicronaut;

• You have experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (preferably Vue.js), TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML and CSS;

• You have experience designing and integrating REST APIs;

• You are used to working in Agile/Scrum teams;

• You write clean,maintainableand well-tested code with a focus on quality and performance;

• You enjoy working acrossdifferent partsof the technology stack and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure;

• Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes;

• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines;

• Knowledge of the pensions,insuranceor financial services domain.

A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and reference check are part of the application process.

Each employee withinKeylanemust follow training on information security and irrespective to the role basic information security responsibilities apply.

Benefits

• A monthly gross salary between € 3.500 and € 4.900 based on 40 hours per week.

• 8% holiday allowance of your total gross salary.

• Flexibility in working environment. As part of a hybrid working team, you will work partly from home and partly from the office. If you work in the office, a free lunch is waiting for you every day. If you work from home, you will receive a working from home allowance (€ 4 net per day) and internet allowance (€ 35 net per month).
