TwentyEighth Conversation in Amsterdam is looking for a Full Stack Engineer who desires to build meaningful products. In this role, you'll take ownership of features from start to finish and work closely with a small team to enhance a core platform used by major brands.

The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience and expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and Vue.js. You'll have the opportunity to integrate cutting-edge AI tools while working in an inspiring office environment with a strong emphasis on rapid iteration and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in modern full-stack development.
• Strong skills with Node.js, TypeScript, Vue.js, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience integrating LLMs into production systems.

We’re looking for a Full Stack Engineer who doesn’t just want to write code, but wants to build something meaningful.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

You’ll join a team of 4 engineers and 2 designers building and scaling a product already used by major global brands.

This is not a maintenance role. This is ownership.

You will..

• Own features end-to-end — from understanding the problem to shipping and iterating
• Quickly understand complex application flows and improve them
• Build and evolve our core platform (Node.js, TypeScript, Vue.js, Snowflake, PostgreSQL)
• Work AI-first — using tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini as part of your daily workflow
• Collaborate closely with product and design to ship experiences users genuinely enjoy
• Think about performance — both frontend and backend
• Help shape architectural decisions as we scale

• Have 5+ years of professional experience in modern full-stack development
• Are strong with Node.js, TypeScript, Vue.js, and PostgreSQL
• Understand system design, architecture, and Domain Driven Design
• Can break down complex problems into pragmatic solutions
• Care about code quality and testing
• Understand performance bottlenecks across the stack
• Have experience integrating LLMs into production systems
• Think critically about prompt design, evaluation, AI guardrails, and reliability
• Use AI tools daily and understand how they change engineering workflows
• Communicate clearly and confidently — you can explain technical concepts to non-technical people
• Love learning and staying ahead of trends

Bonus points if you’ve worked with Python, AWS, Snowflake, CI/CD pipelines, or infrastructure as code (AWS CDK).
