Job summary

MY Recruitment is seeking a freelance QA / Compliance Consultant to support the setup of a new ISO 22000 facility in Amsterdam. The role involves ensuring that quality systems are ready for production and customer interactions while working with R&D teams. Ideal candidates should have ISO 22000 experience, expertise in food safety, and the ability to produce clear QA documentation. The position offers flexible working arrangements, including some days on-site in Leeuwarden.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience setting up, implementing, reviewing, or auditing ISO 22000 systems.
• Experience with HACCP, food safety risk assessments, and prerequisite programs.
• Experience with cleanroom or controlled-environment facilities, preferably aligned with ISO 14644.
• Strong experience reviewing, writing, and improving QA / QMS / FSMS documentation.
• Experience in regulated production environments such as food, biotech, or cosmetics.
• Ability to work with R&D teams where processes may still be evolving.
• Strong risk-based thinking and clear written output delivery.

Responsibilities

• Review current facility setup against ISO 22000 expectations.
• Advise on QA, food safety, and hygiene documentation systems.
• Review and help create QMS / FSMS documents.
• Define and organize evidence for audit-ready QA packs.
• Support R&D and production with evolving processes.
• Prepare for customer audits and future ISO 22000 certification readiness.

Skills

Hands-on experience with ISO 22000 systems
