Job summary

DCN Diving is seeking a skilled Dive Technician to join our offshore operations. You will maintain, inspect, repair and troubleshoot air diving systems and equipment, ensuring safety and readiness in demanding environments.

Required: trade qualification or engineering degree, 4+ years in offshore/diving roles, and certifications including Kirby Morgan Technician, Dive Technician Course, Gauge Calibration, Compressor and Regulator Maintenance. European-based contractor rotation applies.

Qualifications

• A recognized trade qualification, engineering degree, or equivalent technical education is required.
• Minimum 4 years of proven experience as a Dive Technician in commercial diving, offshore, or subsea environments.
• Experience with maintenance, inspection, repair, and troubleshooting of diving systems and equipment.
• Experience working in offshore environments with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and operational readiness.
• Professional certifications include Kirby Morgan Technician Course, Dive Technician Course, Gauge Calibration, Compressor Maintenance, and Regulator Maintenance.

You will be responsible for the maintenance, inspection, repair, and troubleshooting of air diving systems and associated equipment. This role requires strong technical knowledge, hands‑on experience, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in demanding offshore environments.

Mandatory Qualifications & Experience
Education & Technical Background

• A recognized trade qualification, engineering degree, or equivalent technical education is required.
• Preferred technical backgrounds include electrical or mechanical engineering/trade

Professional Experience

• Minimum 4 years of proven experience as a Dive Technician in commercial diving, offshore, or subsea environments.
• Practical experience with the maintenance, inspection, repair, and troubleshooting of diving systems and associated equipment.
• Experience working in demanding offshore environments with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and operational readiness.

Required Vocational Training & Certifications

Additional experience with diving systems, planned maintenance systems (PMS), IMCA standards, and offshore certification requirements will be considered an advantage.

Contract & Rotation Details

• European-based contractor preferred.
• Contract Type: Freelance / Contractor.
• Rotation: Back-to-back rotation of 6 weeks on / 3 weeks off. Rotation schedule can be adjusted depending on project requirements and operational needs.
