Foseco Netherlands R&D Center seeks an experienced Hands-on Foundry Supervisor to manage daily foundry operations while actively participating on the shop floor. You will organize casting schedules, coordinate staff and equipment, and ensure safe and efficient production.

The role blends leadership with practical casting work and collaboration with R&D specialists. You will monitor quality, drive process improvements, and contribute to safety culture on site in Enschede.

Formación

• Experience in foundry operations or heavy industry.
• Strong leadership and hands-on supervision on the shop floor.
• Experience with casting processes and alloy melts.
• Safety-focused and able to coordinate maintenance.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, coordinate and supervise casting activities.
• Lead and support a small team of foundry operators.
• Prepare moulds using furan- and clay-bonded sand.
• Prepare melts according to melt specifications and adjust alloy composition.
• Lead casting operations and ensure safe transfer of molten metal.
• Oversee post-processing: grinding, sawing, blasting.
• Machining analysis samples and prepare casting reports for R&D.
• Support Technicians and Scientists with R&D equipment and experiments.
